Novel Feed Technologies, LLC was founded by two seasoned cattle nutrition professionals with a shared vision: to deliver biologically sound, cost-effective feed solutions while focusing on producers first. With a combined 45 years of industry experience, Eric Dorr and Kory Duerst bring unmatched technical expertise, regional insight, and a hands-on approach to supporting dairies and feedlots across the United States.
Eric Dorr, based in Caldwell, Idaho, leads our efforts in the Western U.S. With 27 years in the cattle industry and a background that includes work in 25 states and 11 countries, Eric specializes in silage technologies and microbial based nutrition solutions. He holds a B.S. in Animal Science and an MBA, and is the owner of Silage Consulting International, LLC, where he works with cutting-edge tools like drone-based silage mapping and on-farm NIR devices. His deep knowledge and global perspective make him a trusted resource for feedlots and dairies navigating complex nutritional challenges.
Kory Duerst, operating out of Coon Valley, Wisconsin, focuses on dairy and calf operations throughout the Midwest and Eastern U.S. With 18 years of experience and a proven track record of building successful territories from the ground up, Kory brings a sharp eye for product development and market strategy. As the owner of Core Functional Ingredients, LLC, he has introduced innovative solutions like MCM, Sorbium, and CalBal to the ruminant market, helping producers optimize performance and profitability.
At Novel Feed Technologies, we saw an opportunity to challenge the status quo. We provide biologically equivalent feed technologies that are often underutilized or overpriced, and we invest in distribution partners who share our commitment to producer-level support. Our lean business model allows us to deliver clear, effective solutions without the burden of a corporate agenda.
